We all love a good sale, but if you have made the decision to go cruelty-free, there are many products in this sale that you will want to avoid. I went through the entire August 30-September 19 Beauty Steals calendar and made a list of every product that is 100% cruelty-free.

You will notice that some cruelty-free brands included in this sale, like Tarte, are not included on my list. That is because I only promote products from cruelty-free companies that are either independently owned, or owned by a company that is also cruelty-free. Don’t fret, there are plenty of cruelty-free options!

Please note that there were a few brands that I could not find conclusive information to determine cruelty-free status of the company itself or of the parent company. I left off those companies that I was not sure about. Please see below for my list of all 100% cruelty-free Beauty Steals included in this Ulta 21 Days of Beauty event.

I hope this list is helpful to you over the next few weeks as you shop the Ulta 21 Days of Beauty Sale! I do not have experience with most of these brands, but I have heard great things about cruelty-free brands Mario Badescu, Kopari, Patchology, Jane Iredale, UOMA, Zoeva, Cover FX, and Ofra.

My #1 recommendation from the Beauty Steals calendar is the Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadows. These make great toppers for other eyeshadows that need a little extra sparkle and since it is a liquid formula, there is no glitter fallout. Also, it is very rare to see Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadows go on sale at Ulta. If you’ve been eyeing these, now is the time! 😉

  1. Hi Lauren! I have to say, I’m sure I’m the reason Ulta is still in business LOL. The 21 Day Event is called “The 21 Days of Spending” at our house! Usually, there are very few days that I don’t buy something. But that was in the day of running into my local Ulta (less than a mile away) and grabbing whatever was on sale that day that caught my eye. Now that I do all of my Ulta shopping online, things will be different. Shock of all-shockers…I will NOT be buying stuff every single day of the 21-day event! The only thing I really have my eye on is the Cover FX Monochromatic Blush Duos, as somehow I missed them when they were on sale at the last 21-day event. Some of the things you have listed are already in my arsenal of beauty supplies and some of the things I would normally buy, are not cruelty free, and I’m trying SO hard to be more aware of what I purchase. Thank you, as always, for such a compete post listing all of the things in the sale that are cruelty free. Such a big help!

    • Thank you for reading! Ulta definitely loves you, Nancy! I’ve been eyeing the Cover FX Monochromatic Blush Duos as well. The shimmers in those look so pretty, they would make good eyeshadows in addition to being blushes or blush toppers! Happy shopping, and enjoy your new blush(es)! 🙂

  2. Hi Lauren, if only I knew about Ultas 21 days of Sales this time last year when my hubby and I were holidaying in Hawaii, I would of purchased the store out of products and bought them back to Australia 🇦🇺 with me, unfortunately we don’t have an Ulta store here and Sephora isn’t that close to me unfortunately.
I guess you ladies living in the USA 🇺🇸 are a lot better off when it comes to products and brands than the rest of the world.
    Best Wishes 😊

    • Hi Janelle! Yes, those of us in the USA certainly are lucky to have so many options of beauty companies and stores to shop from. In my opinion, Ulta is much better than Sephora so it’s really too bad that they don’t have any stores in Australia! Maybe someday that will change. Ulta runs the 21 Days of Beauty event every six months or so. If you vacation in the US again in the future, maybe the sale will be going again while you’re here! *fingers crossed*

Thank you for reading and commenting! 🙂
